Client\/reseller,Domain owner,Email user creation can be done by using this account.<br \/>Note : We cannot use the root password for login to this account as in Cpanel. To login to this account use<br \/>Username : admin<br \/>Password : (will be stored in fiel \/etc\/psa\/.psa.shadow )<\/p>\n<p>Client\/Reseller<\/p>\n<p>This is the second tier account . Domain owner accounts and Email user accounts can be managed from this account.<\/p>\n<p>Domain owner<\/p>\n<p>Everything related to one domain can be managed by using this account. usually client\/reseller creates a Domain owner account.<\/p>\n<p>mail user<\/p>\n<p>This is the fourth tier account. Here users are allowed to manage their mail account. Only mail related functions are allowed here such as sending mails ,seting spam filters etc.<br \/>Software componets of plesk.<\/p>\n<p>The following software components are used with plesk.<\/p>\n<p>DNS server : bind<br \/>Webserver : Apache<br \/>FTP server : proftpd<br \/>Mail server : Mysql,mssql,postgresql<br \/>IMAP\/POP : courier-IMAP<br \/>Mailing list: Mailman<br \/>Statistical softwares : Webalizer, AWstats<\/p>\n<p>Types of hosting<\/p>\n<p>In plesk, 3 modes of hosting are avaliable<br \/>They are<br \/>Physical hosting<br \/>The domain is actually hosted on that server.<br \/>Standard Hosting<br \/>Here url is redirected such that browser url will be changed to destination url<br \/>Frame forward<br \/>Here also redirection takes place. But browser url doesnot change<\/p>\n<p>PSA DATABASE<br \/>*****************<br \/>Plesk has a database called psa. We can use the administrator username(admin) and password to login to psa database.<br \/>>Tables in psa database are<br \/>1. Domains<br \/>2. Clients<br \/>3. db_users<br \/>4.db_bases<br \/>5. disk_spaces<br \/>6.mail<br \/>7.lockout<br \/>8. web_users<\/p>\n<p>Backup<\/p>\n<p>> To back up all data<br
