httpd: error while loading shared libraries: libaprutil-1.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory|cPanel<\/h3>\n

Date Posted: 04-04-2018<\/strong><\/p>\n

Recently, we have received an issue with respect to\u00a0libaprutil<\/em> package on cPanel server. The apache service went down due to this. The following steps will help on fixing the issue.<\/p>\n

1. Login to the server via ssh.<\/p>\n

2. Run the below commands
\nhttpd -l<\/code>
\n apachectl -l<\/code><\/p>\n

3. If it reports any error with respect to apr package like below.<\/p>\n

\nhttpd: error while loading shared libraries: libaprutil-1.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

4. Run the below command to fix the error.<\/p>\n

yum update ea-apr-util<\/code><\/p>\n

This will update\/install the missing package on cPanel server.<\/p>\n

5. Restart apache2 service<\/p>\n

service httpd restart<\/code><\/p>\n

6. Check the httpd status
\nservice httpd status<\/code><\/p>\n
