dpkg: error processing package javascript-common<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

When we installed VestaCP on a Ubuntu 18.04 system, we ran into this below error.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Setting up javascript-common (11) ...\ndpkg: error processing package javascript-common (--configure):\n subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1\nErrors were encountered while processing:\n javascript-common\nE: Sub-process \/usr\/bin\/dpkg returned an error code (1)<\/pre>\n\n\n\n
In order to resolve this error, we need to clean up this package. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
apt-get --purge remove javascript-common<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n
We need to use purge option to delete the files completely. That solves the issue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
