In Android Studio, it&#8217;s also possible to push our commits or changes to a remote repository. Note that you can use the shortcut&nbsp;<strong>Control-K<\/strong>&nbsp;to commit changes anytime from Android Studio.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you now revisit the&nbsp;<strong>Local Changes<\/strong>&nbsp;tab in the&nbsp;<strong>Version Control<\/strong>&nbsp;window, you won&#8217;t see any of your files listed there anymore\u2014because we successfully committed them to our local repo.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Note that you can also navigate to&nbsp;<strong>VCS &gt; Git &gt; Commit File&#8230;<\/strong>&nbsp;to make a commit and&nbsp;<strong>VCS &gt; Git &gt; Add<\/strong>&nbsp;to add a file for staging.
