Introduction :<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Taking Backup of any hosting account is very necessary & safe. Cpanel provides a scripts which will help to backup & restore becomes more easy. Command pkgacct is used for backup cpanel web hosting accounts and restorepkg is for restoring cpanel accounts via the SSH or command line interface. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prerequisite :<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Root user password.<\/li>
  2. Cpanel account username.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Steps<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1)<\/strong> Log-in to the server using SSH as Root user. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    2)<\/strong> To Backup<\/strong> a cpanel account enter the following command on the command line, Instead of username enter your username init.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    After completing backup it display location, size of file and status of backup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
