{"id":9,"date":"2012-06-08T14:28:00","date_gmt":"2012-06-08T14:28:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pheonixsolutions.com\/?p=9"},"modified":"2012-07-15T11:51:22","modified_gmt":"2012-07-15T11:51:22","slug":"authorization-erorr-iis-home-page","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pheonixsolutions.com\/blog\/authorization-erorr-iis-home-page\/","title":{"rendered":"Authorization erorr IIS home page"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"text-align: left;\" dir=\"ltr\">When you try to access the website, you will be getting an error message stating as follows:<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\" dir=\"ltr\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\" dir=\"ltr\">=====<br \/>\nAuthorization Error<br \/>\n=====<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\" dir=\"ltr\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\" dir=\"ltr\">Its a known issue if you are running Plesk with IIS.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\" dir=\"ltr\">\n<p>You can resolve the issue by performing the following.<\/p>\n<p>===========<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"font-family: Times,;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Anonymous access to the site was enabled in IIS:&gt;IIS -&gt; Web site -&gt; domain.com -&gt; Directory Security -&gt; Enable anonymous access <\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"margin: 0px; text-align: left; text-indent: 0px;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Courier 10 Pitch';\"><span style=\"font-family: Times,;\">Remove the .Security file from C:\\Inetpub\\vhosts\\domain.com and reconfigure vhost via the following command: C:\\Program Files\\Parallels\\Plesk\\admin\\bin&gt;websrvmng &#8211;reconfigure-vhost &#8211;vhost-name=domain.com\u00c2\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"margin: 0px; text-align: left; text-indent: 0px;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Courier 10 Pitch';\"><span style=\"font-family: Times,;\">\u00c2\u00a0<\/span><br style=\"font-family: Times,;\" \/><span style=\"font-family: Times,;\">If the passwords for system user and IIS user seemed to be out of synchronization, change the password for IIS user on that domain and do the same in Computer Management -&gt; Local Users and Settings -&gt; Users -&gt; IUSR_domain <\/span><br style=\"font-family: Times,;\" \/><span style=\"font-family: Times,;\">Verify other domains are not having the same issue.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>===========<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\">After performing the above, execute the following command from command prompt.<\/span><\/p>\n<div style=\"font-family: Times,;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">websrvmng &#8211;reconfigure-vhost &#8211;vhost-name=domainname.com<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"font-family: Times,;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"font-family: Times,;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"font-family: Times,;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">\u00c2\u00a0Have a Great Surfing!!!!!
