Introduction <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mailman is a service that allows you to create mailing lists so that you can send a large number of E-mails in one go and allows you to send mail to multiple recipients using a single email address<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prerequisites<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  1. WHM “root” credentials or <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. A sudo privileged user to access the server via SSH<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Resolution<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    While restarting the mailman, if it shows an error as per the snapshot follow the below steps to fix the issue<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Step 1: Recreate the missing mailman mailing list by executing the below script.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \/usr\/local\/cpanel\/3rdparty\/mailman\/bin\/newlist<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

    Step 2: Provide the name of the list, email ID of the person who created this list and a strong password <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Enter the name of the list: mailman
    Enter the email of the person running the list: email@domain.com
    Initial mailman password:<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

    Step 3: Restart mailman to activate the new list<\/p>\n\n\n\n
