Introduction:

In this section we are going to see how to reset an email account password for a user in cPanel

Prerequisites:

1. cPanel  login credentials
2. E-mail account name to reset password.

Procedure:

Step 1: Login to cPanel user account using the login credentials

Step 2: Select Email Accounts menu under Tools > Email

Step 3: Select a user account and click on manage

Step 4: Now generate the password for the user

Note: Save the password 

Step 5: Scroll down and click on Update email settings menu.

Now the password is updated.
