Introduction

In this section we are going to see how to install/update the SSL certificate purchased from a CA(certificate Authority) for a domain on cPanel.

Prerequisite:

1. Server certificate issued by CA

2. Intermediate certificate (CA Bundle)

3. Your Private key ( Generated while submitting CSR)
4. cPanel (or) WHM login credentials.

Procedure :

1. Login to WHM using credentials

2. Select list accounts
   
   
   
   
   
3. Select the domain you need to update the SSL and click the CP (cPanel) Menu.
   
   
   
   
   
   
4. Click SSL/TLS menu under the security
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
5. Click Manage  SSL sites.
   
   
   
   
   
   
6. Update the Certificate, private key, and certificate Authority Bundle.
   
   
   
   
   
7. Click on Install certificates.
   
   
   
   Now the certificate is successfully installed.
   
8. Now go to WHM and restart apache.
   
   
   Now we can see the updated certificate.

Conclusion:

The above steps will help us to install the SSL certificate for the domain on cPanel.
