A parked domain (also known as a domain alias) allows multiple domain names to display the same website content. This is useful for branding, protecting domain variations, or redirecting traffic from similar domain names.

For example, if domain.net is parked on domain.com, visitors accessing either domain will see the same website content.

Prerequisites:

Before proceeding, ensure you have:

  1. Root or reseller access to WHM (Web Host Manager)
  2. The primary domain already added to your server
  3. The domain to be parked (registered and pointing to your server’s nameservers)
  4. Basic understanding of DNS configuration

Implementation:

Follow the steps below to park a domain using WHM:

Step – 1:

Log in WHM and find the DNS Functions section.

Step – 2:

Click Park a Domain and choose the existing domain on which to park the new one(left side box). Enter the domain name to park (right side box).Click Submit.

Step -3:

Once submitting, One domain name was successfully parked on top of another. The owner of the original domain should now be able to see the parked domain in cPanel.
