Introduction:
In Android using Kotlin, a Button is a user interface component that performs an action when clicked. It is a subclass of TextView and is often used to trigger actions, such as submitting a form or navigating to another screen.

Steps:
Step 1: Open the XML layout and click on the Button component. You will see the Button in the UI. Use this component in your UI design.

Step 2: You need to specify the ID for the button. The ID represents the function of the button.
Step 3: Go to the activity file and write the function for the button. When the button is clicked, it should display ‘Button clicked’ in the console log.

Conclusion:
By following these steps, you can use a button in the Android app. I have added a function that, when the button is clicked, will display ‘Button clicked’ in the log. The log title is ‘Button click’, and it shows up in Logcat.
