Upgrade Redis Node type

Please follow the below steps to upgrade the Redis node type

  1. Login to AWS
  2. In the searchbar type “Redis” or “Elastic cache”
  3. Select your Clustername
  4. You can see “Actions” above. Click on that.
  5. Click “Modify”
  6. “Modify cluster” dialog box will appear.
  7. Select the node type you want to upgrade. ex:- cacher5.2xlarge.
  8. Click Modify.
  9. It will take some time to modify. After some time you can see the status from modify to available.
