How to Backup and Restore cPanel Account form Backend.

Introduction :
Taking Backup of any hosting account is very necessary & safe. Cpanel provides a scripts which will help to backup & restore becomes more easy. Command pkgacct is used for backup cpanel web hosting accounts and restorepkg is for restoring cpanel accounts via the SSH or command line interface.
Prerequisite :
- Root user password.
- Cpanel account username.
Steps
1) Log-in to the server using SSH as Root user.
2) To Backup a cpanel account enter the following command on the command line, Instead of username enter your username init.
/scripts/pkgacct username

After completing backup it display location, size of file and status of backup.

3) To Restore a cpanel account enter the following command on the command line, Instead of username enter your username init.
/scripts/restorepkg username
Note – To restore the file, 1st goto the directory, that to be stored
